I chose this site because it is an easy way to show how to clone an animal. The steps are very easy to follow. It is detailed and shows good animations. The website clones a mouse and it makes you feel like you're in a lab working on an experiment.

Molecular Cloning

I feel that cloning is a good way to further biotechnology. Biotechnology shouldn't be used on people; we don’t need to mess with nature. Even if we know how to clone humans, it shouldn't be done. It may be needed in the future, who knows what’ll happen to the human race. If this gets out of hand people will start to make clones of themselves and other things to use it for evil or inappropriate purposes. 

Cloning has four steps. 

1. fragmentation - breaking apart a strand of DNA
2. ligation - gluing together pieces of DNA in a desired sequence
3. transfection - inserting the newly formed pieces of DNA into cells
4. screening/selection - selecting out the cells that were successfully transfected with the new DNA
